2024 on the mic..
Sally has had some tremendous presenting gigs this year using every inch of her live hosting experience including; Hosting the Grace Ball 2024, a spectacular fundraising evening in Scotland’s capital, commentating at The Spirit of Belron multi sports event at Dorney Lake and commentating at Commando 2024 at Hever Castle geeing up the competitors for the ultimate in endurance course racing.
For more details about these events and some further private coaching work this year follow me on LinkedIn.
The people of Belron are full of energy and spirit as they take on the challenges of the day, racing and reuniting with colleagues from all over the world at the prestigious world sporting venue that is Eton Dorney.
A tremendous gift of a job spent on the mic, celebrating their successes and helping to share their achievements from the day but most of all galvanising the fundraising for Africa Takun - which helps young people get on the ladder to success from cradle to career in some of the poorest townships in South Aftrica.
Another year, another day spent in a muddy field with a mic, commentating on the heroic endurance obstacle course racing that is Commando Series.
Knee deep in mud commentating at Commando ‘24 - the ultimate endurance obstacle course race! 1500 game for it ‘recruits’ being utterly put through their paces.
The warm up with Bart and Dougie was brutal enough!! Courage, Unity, Determination - we saw it all! ”Let me hear your war cry!!”
As a rule, I never wear red‼️
But felt the need to embrace it last weekend when I hosted the Fire & Ice themed Grace Ball ‘24 in Edinburgh!
And what a magical, glamorous evening it was at the spectacular Prestonfield House in the capital… surely the best luxury hotel in Scotland!
I loved working alongside my old TV pal Grant Stott who’s always on unstoppable form as the master auctioneer, “Britain’s Got Talent” superstars DNA Mindreaders and the wonderful Mary Glasgow, Chief Executive of Children 1st, the amazing national charity that we were fundraising for. Congrats Gilson Gray on another epic star spangled fundraiser.
Hugging it in with the General manager of Prestonfield House @AlanMcGuiggan and first TV husband Grant Stott!
